Connectivity of Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett national park, one of India’s famous national parks, is home to distinctive endangered species of flora and fauna. A tourist favorite destination, Jim Corbett is located approximately 260 kms from the capital, Delhi. Ramnagar, a small town near Corbett National Park forms for its headquarters. The city is well connected by rail and roads to major cities of India namely Bareily, Moradabad, Delhi and Nainital.

One planning to set themselves on an adventurous journey to the wildlife needs to first opt for the choice of transportation medium i.e. either by road or by rail.

Jim Corbett by Road:
With a well-connected road network, the small city of Ramnagar is approachable through travel option of Uttarakhand state government buses that leave in short intervals of time from Moradabad, Delhi, Haldwani and takes you directly to Ramnagar. The drive of 15 kms takes duration of five and a half hours. The designated approach routes are:

•Delhi-Gajrola-Moradabad-Kashipur-Ramnagar: (240 km approx)
•Bareilly-Kichha-Haldwani-Ramnagar: (160 km approx)

Jim Corbett by Road:
The city of Ramnagar has a railway station as the only closest railway station to Jim Corbett National Park. There is a direct train from Ramnagar to Delhi. Alternatively, one can even reach Haldwani/Kashipur/Kathgodam and travel to Ramnagar via road. There is an easy availability of taxis from these stations.

For accommodation, Jim Corbett hosts bests of tiger resorts in India. Not only the outskirts of the park but there are a lot of jungle Corbett resorts in Ramnagar that offer facilities fit as per tourist requirements.
