The Famous Temples of Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is India’s oldest National Park that was set up in the wake of safeguarding the endangered species of the Royal Bengal Tiger. Sitabani Temple

Sitabani temple is the place of Goddess Sita, wife of, Lord Ram. Sitabani temple is located on 20 km away from Ramnagar. The temple organizes a large fair every year on the day of Ramnavami. It is believed to be the place that goddess Sita spent her day of exile in Sitabani forest near to Sitabani temple. The structure of Sitabani temple makes it the attractive monument in Jim Corbett. Devidhura Temple, Champawat

The famous hunter, Jim Corbett’s tale "temple tiger" is associated with these Devidhura temples. Devidhura temple is situated among tall deodar and oak trees surrounded by beautiful native flora and fauna. This temple is the wonderful place for trekking and being with the mountains. At the temple of Barahi Devi on the Raksha Bandhan day, unusual fair is conducted which attracts a number of people from Nepal, Kumaon and other places.
